Presentation Summary
We will demonstrate how contracts can affect the outcome of a claim, discuss key provisions every engineer should be able to identify, and explore ways to avoid uninsurable risks. We will review two clauses that should be included
in every client contract: Limitation of Liability, which limits the firm’s liability and Individual Protection for Design Professionals, which protects professional employees from being sued individually by their client.
