Lab Summary
This is a 2-day training course to introduce OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition - OpenRoads Technology tools for Plan Development Workflows on Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects. The curriculum was developed within the FDOTConnect Workspace to provide sample exercises for most of the new Plan Development tools on a sample project data set.

Training Guide
Virtual Registration
A mandatory software check is required prior to the event. Details for this software check will be included in the confirmation email. Please be sure all software is up to date using the links below prior to the software check. A digital copy of the Course Guide will be provided. The day before the event you will receive a TEAMS link to attend this virtual training lab. Make sure you have the most current version of Microsoft TEAMS prior to the event. Software Checks will be on Monday, January 29th at two times: 9:00am and 1:00pm. Attendees must attend one of these time slots.

Prerequisites
Participants need to have a basic understanding of Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) using MicroStation, a basic understanding of OpenRoads Designer Connect Edition concepts and a solid understanding of the engineering necessary to design
a Roadway.
FDOT Roadway Design 2D and 3D Modeling - Basic Training.

If circumstances change and you can no longer attend this event, you may cancel your registration by providing written notice to the FES|ACEC Florida team at mwhittington-baschoff@fleng.org.
Registrations may be refunded if cancellation is made at least 10 business days prior to the event. Cancellations received after the cancellation cutoff will not receive a refund. Substitutions can be made at any time prior to the event date.
