The FES Ridge Chapter will be touring the new Lakeland Electric McIntosh facility on January 15th at 5:30 PM. The plant has six reciprocating engines, each capable of producing 20 MW’s of power. Location: 3300 Lake Parker Dr, Lakeland, FL 33805 (Travel north on Lake Parker Dr from Memorial Blvd, enter the McIntosh facility through Gate 7) Registration: $20 per person, must be completed by February 9th. A meal will be provided with the option of either a Chick-fil-a sandwich or grilled chicken wrap.
