FDOT Digital Delivery (BIM files) - Design Review Workshop: This one day workshop will provide knowledge, information, and updates on FDOT requirements for model centric designs, delivering BIM files as legal contract documents, QA/QC of BIM files, and Design Review of BIM files. Participants will get hands on training with contents of BIM files utilizing Design Review software from experienced instructors on the subject matter.
Virtual Registration:
A mandatory software check is required prior to the event. Details for this software check will be included in the confirmation email. Please be sure all software is up to date using the links below prior to the software check. A digital copy
of the Course Guide will be provided. The day before the event you will receive a TEAMS link to attend this virtual training lab. Make sure you have the most current version of Microsoft TEAMS prior to the event. A 1-hour lunch
break will take place from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on Day 1. Software Checks will be on Monday, November 6th at two times: 9:00am and 1:00pm. Attendees must attend one of these time slots.
Prerequisites
Students must have a basic understanding of the FDOT design and delivery process. Must have computer skills necessary to organize files and folders and operate a windows base operating system. Some understanding of PDF and how it is produced.
